This stunning lehenga is a dream of many Indian brides. As per the reports of People, 110 embroiders worked for 3720 hours to create this master piece.
This famous couple tied knots in Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur in a three day ceremony.
2. Sonam Kapoor – One of the most iconic actresses of Indian Cinema Sonam Kapoor tied knots with Anand Ahuja. As she is well known for her fashion and style both in her professional and personal life.
The actress wanted to wear bridal red and gold on her D- day. Her lehenga was designed by Anuradha Vakil.
The lehenga was made in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh. Special gold and silk yarn was used to make it. The entire piece was centered around a stylized lotus motif.
3. Deepika Padukone – I need not to introduce you all to the fashion sense of the iconic Deepika Padukone. And she surpassed our expectations on her wedding day.
She was looking stunning from head to toe in Sabyasachi. Her red lehenga with golden tilla details was paired with a chowki design aari-taari dupatta.
On the heavy borders of the dupatta was written an age-old saying ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ in Devnagri. She was a dream come true to watch that day.
4. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan – We cannot forget the fairy tale wedding of Aishwarya and Abhishek? It is one of the famous Bollywood weddings forever.
Aishwarya wore a traditional golden kanjeevaram saree on her big day. The saree consisted of a golden border which had lot of expensive crystals.
The saree was designed by Netta Lulla. And it was made up of real gold thread.
5. Anushka Sharma – She had a boho inspired wedding in Italy. Her wedding took place at Borgo Finocchieto, an 800 hundred year old property turned into boutique. Anushka choose the color of her lehenga according to the Tuscan surrounding.
The lehenga was of blush pink color with tropical flora & fauna. It was hand embroidered in silk floss by 67 karigars. And it took 32 days to assemble this.
